Kelsey & Clayton | Elopement at UCLA

Kelsey & Clayton knew they wanted something super simple and low-key for their wedding day with only their parents and siblings in attendance. They met at UCLA and after 8 years of being together, tied the knot on their anniversary! (Kelsey didn’t even wear a dress - she opted for a comfy jumpsuit instead!)

The level of intimacy for this elopement was so endearing. Everyone sat around in their apartment and exchanged gifts before they jumped in the party bus to campus. They weren’t picky about where they wanted the ceremony. In fact, they were perfectly find with doing it on the front lawn of a building. All that mattered to them was getting married. I really love couples who are down for whatever and feel comfortable making things up as we go. Their families were so supportive and there wasn’t a dry eye during on that lawn.

Afterwards, I walked around campus with Kelsey & Clayton as they shared stories with me, and everyone went to the pub on campus for a beer and a few laughs.
